MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

Consultations are by appointment only and can be made by telephone or by attending the surgery. The surgeries remain open throughout the day and you are welcome to attend at either site.

We offer a range of pre-bookable appointments up to six weeks in advance and appointments that can be made on the day. If you feel you need an urgent appointment we will make every effort to make sure you are seen. Please note, if you wish to see a particular doctor, let the receptionist know, but bear in mind that you may have to wait until that doctor is available.

We offer an extended hours service at both our sites including early morning, late evenings and Saturday clinics. We request that these appointments should be left for those patients who are working and unable to attend during normal hours.

Telephone Consultations

You may book a telephone consultation, if you feel your problem can be dealt with over the phone, with the doctor. This may save you time and a trip to the surgery.

HOW DO I...
OBTAIN HOME VISITS?

If you are not well enough to come to the surgery, we may visit you in your home. Please bear in mind that visits are more time consuming, so if you can make it to the surgery we would be grateful. While we acknowledge that some patients have transport difficulties, this is not considered sufficient reason to request a home visit. Please telephone before 10.00am if you require a visit; the doctor may phone you back to assess your condition.

OBTAIN TEST RESULTS?

We will only give test results to the patient who had the test(s). Please try and phone between 11.30am-3.30pm when it is less busy.
